NetNewsWire (Free)

Probably the best RSS reader available for any platform.

MacJournal ($35)

Another blog creation tool; appears to include everything but the kitchen sink.

Camino (Free)

My personal favorite. I recommend the 2.0 beta over the current stable release.

Firefox (Free)

Best known for its infinite number of extensions.

Safari (Free)

Included with Mac OS X; these days it's also available for Windows.

Web: Development

Coda ($99)

Integrated development environment for building web sites. Highly recommended.

Transmit ($30)

File transfer client. Supports FTP, SFTP & WebDAV.

CSSEdit (€30)

Specialized editor for CSS development.

Hmm, how about Opera? Certainly my browser of choice, along with Lynx ;)

On the Web Dev side, I use TextWrangler, which is free from barebones who also make the more expensive BBEdit. Comes with built in FTP for working straight off the server or just connecting & uploading.

And FTP-wise, I also use Cyberduck, well, when I'm not just going straight from the command-line, that is.

Opera! Definitely agree. I used it on my Windows home PC (but used Firefox at work for reasons which now escape me), and as much as I tried to like Safari, little things just Weren't Opera, so I switched back.

And I also use Cyberduck! It does secure FTP as well, which is nice, given that's what my host allows.

I've had my Mac for less than a month so this community should prove pretty useful :)
